Typically, a website project will take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. Very small, single page site will be far quicker to develop than a multi page website with a blog and other functionality.
Yes. We work with numerous clients offering new e-commerce websites, migrations from old platforms to a better one and general maintenance, consultancy and support. We’re a Shopify Partner and now work with BigCommerce too.
A brochure website and an e-commerce site are both websites. The difference is the purpose they serve. A brochure website will generally be built to raise awareness of a business, contact information and so on, whereas an e-commerce website is designed to sell products.
This is an almost impossible question to answer as so much depends on the requirements. We like to think in terms of investment and value for money. If you have a new business and your website encourages new customers to enquire about your services, this has a huge value. And, we always say a successful e-commerce website doesn’t actually cost you anything - it makes you money.
It’s very easy to build a bad website. Sure, you can get a website up and running, but unless you have a good grasp on general design concepts, UX, SEO and accessibility, the chances are you will build a poor quality website that might even do your business more harm than good.
Yes, all of our websites are built with a good technical SEO foundation. SEO is an ongoing piece of work, so your budget and requirements will determine how far we are able to go to improve and maintain your SEO.
As well as building websites with a strong SEO foundation, we provide technical SEO training, consulting and support.
As a website development agency, we need to be knowledgeable about digital marketing and emerging marketing trends. We can apply these to our initial scoping meetings to make sure we design and build a website geared to your marketing strategy. We also provide ongoing marketing support. However, we are not a marketing agency, so if your requirements are purely marketing (for example, paid Google Ads) then we would work with partner organisations.
In short, no. However, just like marketing, we need to be knowledgeable about such areas, and so we can offer help and advice, but for the day-to-day management of such things, we work with trusted local partners.
